We’re delighted to announce that Eurobase will be attending our **fourth AIO event in just two years**, continuing our commitment to the African reinsurance market. This October, you’ll find us on the ground in **Harare, Zimbabwe**, for the [**2025 African Insurance Organisation (AIO) Conference**,](https://www.eurobase.com/reinsurance-in-africa-aio-zimbabwe) one of the most important gatherings for reinsurers, insurers, MGAs, brokers, and captives across the continent.

This year’s theme —  
**“Growth for the African Reinsurance Industry: Navigating Global Volatility and Growing Risk Complexity”** —  
couldn’t be more relevant for the challenges African reinsurers are facing today.

From macroeconomic instability and sovereign debt exposure to increasingly complex and interconnected risks, African reinsurers operate in a uniquely demanding environment. Add to that fragmented regulation, underdeveloped digital infrastructure, and pressure to localise capacity — and it’s clear that resilience, agility, and innovation are essential for growth.
