3.    Siena provides extensive position and profitability displays and cash-flows, all updated in real-time.

  • Cash-flows can be separated between actual and notional flows, with full projection and drill-down capabilities.
  • All position, nostro and cash-flow enquiries can be “peeled off” to spawn additional position displays.
  • Each deal can be broken down to its NPV for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Positions can be compared against different curves to provide a sensitivity analysis.
  • On-request user-defined position filtering (by any combination of books).
  • Automatic position layoff to appropriate desk books by interbook transactions.
  • P/L and NPV update in line with rate feeds.

4.    Highly configurable Margining:

  • Siena allows organisations to pre-define sales-desk and traders’ margins by highly configurable criteria including for example deal type, currency, tenor, counterparty (and/or trading group), bid/offer and amount band.

5.    The Siena Limits module works in real-time delivering:

  • Pre-deal limit checks against Country, Product, Counterparty Group and Counterparty.
  • Monitored limits include Net/Gross/CLS settlement, Loan Equivalent Risk, Trading (O/N, Daylight and Stop Loss) and User product limits.
  • Intra-day import of limits from external systems.

6.    Siena Front Office supports multiple blotters and allows users to determine the shape, order and blotter content through the use of advanced filters.

  • Multiple blotters can be viewed by a powerful “Peel Off" capability.
  • Each blotter can be filtered as required according to a wide variety of criteria.
  • Frequently used filters can be saved for re-use.

7.    Siena is designed so that all inherent processes apply seamless STP and real-time data transfer both upstream and downstream to other internal/external systems.

8.    Deal Capture windows can be personalised and managed efficiently using:

  • ‘Favourites’ lists.
  • Deal templates.
  • An environment editor to enable and disable features as required.
  • All personalised settings are saved and reusable.
